As the topic says..... Anyone got any ideas on how to draw in more members to the site.....
Sometime soon, imm going to change my signature on a bunch of posts across the net, to the Psiweb Signature, hence hopefully drawing in a bunch of new members. Once we decide on a signature, ill swap out my posts on a few different forums, if you wana help out, find some online forums for any topic, and post away.
Ill give you the Code to post the clickable signature.... on some forums it dosent work, so just check your signature.

One of the best ways to get ppl interested, is to have a blog that guides ppl to the forum. There, you post information about the subject of the forum so that others know the general topic, post a link to the forum, and where there is interest you get membership. Also by having a blog search engines routinely scan your blog and you become posted in the engines' search history according to catagory. Then the more ppl who do a search under that topic, click on you listing with the search engine, they move you up in status. Of course it's optimal to be on the first page because that is where most ppl will stop with a search and they will always get the most hits.
Another was is to establish yourself and members as experts on the subject by participating in discussions that are also included in search engine searches such as with yahoo and google. These are open forums with no membership other than that to the blog site itself and the Q/A are treated as separate subjects.
Within the blogs, it's important to repeat the prime target of the forum site often in the text without becoming rediculous. Example: Psi is blah blah blah and in the psi world there are other psi topics which are included in other forms. But the psi has this that and the other psi ability....etc. Here the use of the "psi" is what the search engine tallies and where the engine places the catagory. It will be included in others but at a less significant spot.
Okay there's my two cents.....Oh and putting a banner on other sites and forums which is linked with theirs gets traffic which will result in membership.
