Hi i was thinking tonight about healing and wondering is it better to know a current day technique used to heal bruses or is it better to just use the intent to heal? meaning if i were to acedently slice open my foot like i did 3 years ago would i have been better off trying to think of making psi stiches or would i have had similer results if i knew that i wanted the blood to stop flowing out the wound and i wanted the wound to close???
any opinians?

Well not so sure about the first method helping although there are other methods. But with each one of those methods you generally are thinking subconsciously that you want the blood to stop flowing and you want it to close. Therefore I would go with the first one if you knew it was a plausible technique, (I doubt thinking of stitches would help much except for doing the latter that being wanting it to close) because then you would be doing both anyway. If you try and focus on something which would fix it in real life all it would do is give off the intent of you wanting your wound closed, which could just as easily be rawly replicated and would probably work better. Now if you knew how to specifically use energy or controlling your body to heal the wound more efficiently then I would go with that because, like I said before, you would be wanting it to close as well anyway.
Why not kill two birds with one stone?

I normally just use intent and it works fine for me. I tend to get lots of practice healing... Especially at last nights metal concert... Mosh Pits Rule!

I would suggest trying to feel out the structure of what you are trying to heal. Try to trace out the blood vessels, the muscles, tendons, bones, ect. Then once you have an idea of the area, try to rejoin blood vessels, reduce pressure on damaged areas, rebuild any tissues that are damaged, and try to keep them that way.

You would be better off seeking medical attention and then using psi/energy to speed up the healing process. You could eventually get to that point though. But honestly, I do not know.

That would depend on how you specialize your workings. If you use mostly manipulative magic, it will probably be easier to change them into something harmless, or possibly even back into what they should be. If you practice mostly destructive magic, it will probably be easiest to destroy the damaged areas.

There are a lot of methods out there. I guess it sort of the same as Reiki. Did you know that cancer patients who receive Reiki treatments do better than those who go without? We could never go without our treatments, but manipulating energy can help speed up the process.
