I would appreciate it if someone (or the whole forum!!!) who is experienced with his or her subconscious to come out of the woodwerk and explain his or her methodology on general communication and how it is done
I understand that every person is different and that your method may not work with a certain individual, but I would like to see how creative we humans are.

When I first wanted to communicate wiht my subc, I just put a representation of it into a construct wiht telepathic capabilities.

meditation meditation meditation. If you can't gain at least some ability in this, you will not go anywhere in magic.
The extreme psionic method which Stolide has suggested/used baffles me in multiple ways. Forget constructs - it's a part of you. Treating it as otherwise, with the ludicrous insinuation that your vast subconscious self can be represented within a mere "telepathic construct" is....well, I really don't know what to say to this, except "..."

Meditation works quite well to be honest. But since I wanted to be able to easily communicate with it without meditating at all times I did that.
It is a part of you, but that does not mean it is easy for everyone to access. I am uncertain why placing an aspect of your subconcious mind into a construct with telepathic abilities is a "ludicrous insinuation."
...
Like what you think...

Cool- this is actualy something I can contribute to.
1. Enter a state of meditation/trance
This can be done in whatever manner you find easiest and best, but it is vital that you are in a semi-deep meditative state.
2. Visualize a staging area
At this point, you are going to create a mental location or staging area for the next step. If you have worked with mindscapes before, vist your's. If not, just image a comfortable area with a large door.
This door will act as your gateway into the sub-c. Make it something that you recognise as a door, but at the same time have control over, if that makes any sense. I visualize it as a sturdy metal door with magnetic seals and an external control pannel.
The door is created in this way so that the sub-c accepts that you are visiting it temporarily, and that it should not change functionality.
3. Enter the Sub-c
In my psionic practices, I like visualizing elements of my mind as locations. It gives me a frame of refernece and an ability to engage the given section on a much more visceral level. This meditaition assumes that the same thing also applies to you.
Visualize what you think your sub-c looks like.
This is more dificult than it might seem, but try to create a location that embodies a sense of forgotten knowledge, or lost secrets. This could be an abandoned library, or the access hub of a long-lost alien computer. Create a location that can be explored, not a tiny area or single room.
The sub-c is a creepy place, and there are things there than might be best left alone. I adopt the mentality of: Don't touch anything, and try not to make any loud noises, but do whatever seems best to you.
4. Seek knowledge
From here on out, the meditation will change based on how you visualized your sub-c. Your goal is to find something or some one that can provide information and knowledge. This is almost always something imediately recognisable as a source of information. Find this object or person, and speak to it.
I would highly recomend that you are respectful, any insults are very literaly being directed at yourself. Ask any questions you have, then leave.
5. Leave
I consider it important to not just sit up and end the meditaion at this point. Actualy go back out of your sub-c, in the same manner as how you arived, and close the door you opened!
Open your eyes, and perform any nessicary grounding.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope this helps, and post any comments or death threats.

All the previous replies certainly give good methods and techniques for acheiving communication with your subconscious. However, I don't believe they are anywhere near as efficient nor useful as simply communicating with your subconscious without any visualizations. As drowning mentioned, meditation is of course necessary in this, as well as most psionic/magical skills. It is especially useful in this case because you really need a quiet mind to hear/understand the answers that your subconscious gives you. To start off, I suggest meditating for about 15 minutes, and then just start asking yourself questions, almost like you're talking to yourself. Ask yourself what love is, are you hungry, and things like that. Don't expect, however, an answer in English, textual form. At first, the answers will contain concepts, thoughts, words, feelings, emotions, and colors all rolled into one! Yes, deciphering that mess can be a pain, but it's really not too difficult, and definitely becomes easier in time. After you practice this, in stead of going through some complicated visualization you can simply start talking with your subconscious. In fact, you could end up holding a conversation when bored. To recap: Meditate, talk to yourself, keep a clear mind to hear/feel the answer, then decipher that answer! Again, once you become good (at meditation) you can keep a clear enough mind at all times to talk/question your sub-c anywhere! Good luck!

Often instead of scaning I just ask my sub-c, handy for phisical scaning, for example my hose has a gate that it shares with the house next door, to get to my front door I have to go though it, I dont have the key so I just ask my sub-c weather its open or not, it's never been wrong yet
