I kept on thinking of what I wanted to add to this section. There is a lot, but maybe in time. Magick is more up my ally than anyone I've really met on this site (I do not know all of you I am sorry if magick is how you swing). Please do not think I am emo, this was just how I dealt with it and I think it provides just a good example.

I cast a spell once. I really went shebang, planned it out, though I did not call a circle. I was young (though I still am ! but young in the means of foolishness) and in a lot of pain, suffering at the break of a relationship that had gone on for a year. I did not learn this until last year or the year before. But it involved burning and ripping up the picture up of my ex, to release the pain and hurt that was inside my heart. In effect, while my intent was good and pure hearted, it was also destructive and probably borderline black magick without realizing it. You see, the part of it is the burning and ripping it up. That's destructive. While, sure, I included words in it, and visualization that was not harmful to the person, there is still that touch of "black" in there. It's a grey area.

Silly of me, but I did not have the knowledge that I do now. Symbolism means a lot especially in magick. Most of magick is symbolism, even used in visualizations. Fire can be destructive, but it can also be used to purge. The wind can be a force to be reckoned with and yet it can also be gentle and healing. Red could be used when angry, but it can also be used to help speed up the healing in the body.

I realize now (and especially after meeting this really nifty lady that I wish I could meet again!) that it was wrong of me to do so, even with my intent. Magick is a lot of intent too besides symbolism.

So all I ask is, when you do, be careful. Intent and symbolism is so very important in magick. Oh and never ever used body fluids or I will beat you with a stick (sorry but I had to add a threat there). You can, but not only is it like ewwwww (I need to freak out about that), but it leaves you open to ..."forces"... I will just term it. I don't want to appear like a lot of fluff in that statement, but it does leave you open to being used or more negative energy or just in general - harm. I'm not saying, OOOO a demon/ghost is going to possess you, nah, that's not it, but it is not good to use it.

So be careful what you do.

I believe that your post would look a bit better if you had something to back it up. Randomly commenting on something does not instantly make you right.

i see a connection between body fluids and energetic signature, so it does make sense that using bodily fluids will let other entities know your "home address"

correct me if my intuitive process is wrong!

Actually you are correct. It is like a beacon, saying, hey! I am over here! Come and get me! It leaves you open. It is like saying being betrayed by an ally who lets your enemy into your home past all your defenses. Like that.

I understand the pain that drove you to act in such a way. Yes, you were young but age has little to do with the acts of magicks. However age does give you experience and time to gain experience.

However, I disagree with your statement that parts of the body leave you open to other energies or spirits. In the using of body parts, it binds you the persons body part which is used to the actions of the magicks. For instance, if you wanted to do a protection spell, you would want the protection for a specific person, by using a finger nail or something else, it binds that protection to that person. But it is very important to have specific direction when doing any magicks. Know who or what energy you are asking, know that the action will happen and thank them for doing so. Spell work is tricky and ritualistic and for the most part, left to those who have the experience. But there are other ways and other magicks that are natural and safe to use without invoking other entities.
My suggestion is that if you are going to practice the craft, study it and keep on studying it. You never have all the knowledge and never do something without knowing what you're doing.
