For me sometimes what we might think it's precognitive dreaming it's not. For example people might think "Oh I've dreamt this before" but in reality, since their brains have no idea where that information came from, they associate it with a dream.
Even though a dream about that didn't actually happen. I'm not saying that in all the cases it's like this but think about it, from the times you've thought you had a precognitive dream, are you 100% sure it was a dream?

I know that at least two times were during the same time as a dream at least. Wake up, think over what you dreamed, go to the living room, turn on the news, see exactly what you dreamed. Quite odd when it happens a few times.
