How will the world end....???

I know this is more of an opinionated discussion rather than a debate, but how do you think the world will come to an end???

Humanity will continue being human and kill all other life on the planet, stripmine it, and then move on to a new planet to exploit.

I think that it is most likely that we will end up destroying ourselves, either through some large war or someones stupid mistake. As weapons become more powerful, mistakes become more deadly.

Stolide you may have a point. We're only as secure and mistake proof as those who are in the loop.

Personally, I hope that nature will be our downfall, but realistically, I think some idiot will push the big red button and send a nuke into the air. Once one nuke is up, it will be a free-for-all with nuclear weapons. End of all life on earth besides twinkies and thingyroaches.

You don't need to fire off nukes. Just get some guy who will drop a bomb on a Nuclear power-plant. Tada! Everyone goes bye bye while all of the people who most want gone live.

no, if you get a big enouph explosion, everything will die, the dust thrown up into the air, from the shockwave, will block out the sun, all plants will die, and life on earth will starve to death.

A dirty bomb would likely only destroy the city and kill those in neighbooring cities.
